All Furlong & Gale pieces have a degree of stretch in the material, and are hips, thighs and bum friendly. For that reason, we recommend being guided by your waist measurement first when selecting a size. All pieces fit true to our size guide. If between sizes, size down.

A Modern Skirt Suit

We designed the Pleat Skirt Set to be worn often, styled easily and returned to again and again. Bringing together the Double Breasted Blazer and Pleat Skirt, it creates a beautiful suit set that feels feminine, modern and easy to wear.

Crafted from Italian stretch wool and finished with signature gold-toned metal buttons, it brings together the structure of classic tailoring with the effortless movement of crisp press pleats. Worn together, it’s a modern take on a skirt suit. Styled separately, each piece is a classic wardrobe foundation you’ll reach for season after season.

THE FIT

Defined and Feminine

The Double Breasted Blazer defines the waist while maintaining ease through the body, creating a flattering, feminine silhouette whether worn open or closed. Paired with the Pleat Skirt, which skims over the hips before falling to an above-the-knee length, the result is a modern skirt suit with structure, movement and ease.

THE FABRIC

Italian Stretch Wool

96% Virgin Wool, 4% Elastane. 265 gsm.

Woven in Italy, and selected for it's beautiful drape, natural breathability and ease of wear. Fully lined in Italian stretch cupro.

STYLE NOTES:

Wear together with a silk shirt, fine knit or classic tee for a modern approach to suiting. Style the blazer with denim or dresses, and pair the skirt with shirting, knitwear or a silk cami to make each piece work beautifully beyond the suit.
